Despite his comments being a strong indication that Cole has won her place on the XF judging panel Stateside, her Will Smith, with SiCo quashing reports that he was to feature as a judge on the show.
Cowell told Extra: "I would love to work with Will, but I don't know where this story has come from, because we have never even spoke. The X Factor will appear on Fox in 2011... without Will."
