Cheryl Cole Defends Giant Bum Tattoo
Star takes to Twitter to explain her newly rosy cheeks to fans...
Cheryl Cole has spoken out in defence of the large rose tattoos she has had inked on her bum and lower back.
The former Girls Aloud star took to Twitter to explain herself after a picture of the tatt in its full glory emerged online yesterday.
She wrote: "I have personal meaning behind it but English roses are my favourite flowers.
And she accompanied that message with the hashtags "#selfexpression" and "#art".
"People are entitled to their own opinion. Personally I've never really concerned myself with other people's body parts!
"I've had it for maybe 7-8 months, it was a long process but only just detailed it. The guy is a genius, a true artist and he helped me to cope a lot because I felt like I was in very safe hands."
Tattooist Nikko Hurtado shared a snap of Chezza's rosy cheeks with the world via his Instagram account - describing her as being "nails".
But Cheryl did admit to followers on Twitter that the process had been painful.
"Overall I'd say 9-10! I can pretty much safely say I'm done [with tattoos]."
Cheryl also shared a picture of herself posing with Nikko on Instagram.
She wrote: "Meet the most talented tattoo artist in the world!!! #Nikkohurtado thank you"
