Cheryl Cole is reportedly "in talks" with Simon Cowell over her future onSinitta has claimed that theGirls Aloud star and Cowell are discussing their next move, with the eighties icon telling Louis Walsh has stated that he is "100 percent behind" the Parachute singer making her return to the show.
Walsh told the Irish Daily Mirror: "We'd welcome her with open arms. I'm surprised about what happened to Cheryl in the US but yes I'd like her back on the UK show."
"I think she should return and I think most viewers feel the same. She's a great asset. I honestly don't know what's going to happen at this stage but I'm 100 percent behind her returning."
He continued: "Cheryl and I get on well. She's a soft, sweet girl. Not many people see that side of her. Of course what happened in the States is a blow but she will bounce back from it with the right people around her."
"She's big enough to carry on being a big success and a massive hit with the viewers. I'm going to miss Dannii so it would be great to have at least Cheryl back,"
It has also been suggested by the Daily Star that Cole could have been sacked from The X Factor USA to rescue the British version, with the tabloid stating that she's been given a big "sweetener" to lure her back to the series.
