Cheryl Cole: "It Felt Wrong To Talk About Divorce"
Cheryl Cole has revealed that it felt 'wrong, not cathartic' to talk about the break-down of her marriage to love rat, Ashley Cole.
The Girls Aloudstar, who is set to break her silence over her divorce from the footballer on Piers Morgan's chat-show, Life Stories this Saturday, claimed that she agreed to the interview to 'silence rumours' over her personal life.

When asked about her decision to speak about her split from Ashley, Chezza told BBC Radio One this morning: "No, it wasn’t really cathartic. It felt a bit wrong. I was talking about stuff I wouldn’t talk about to my closest friends."
"I felt I had to though; it was getting so ridiculous with rumours. People were getting ideas I’m someone I’m not, I needed to get my voice back.
“It was almost like it was a soap opera and it’s my real life."
She explained: "When it’s all out there on Saturday I can move forward. I would have been nervous to come on here before because people want to know personal things and it’s not about that, I have great things going on, I’ve recorded an album.
"It was becoming like I was closed in, I was becoming a caricature of myself, my personal life was bigger than anything.”
The X Factor judge also told the radio station about her encounter with malaria, taking time to praise her rumoured lover Derek Hough and mum, Joan Callaghan, on how they handled her illness.
The 27-year old confessed: "Your body aches and your skin hurts to touch. I had blood tests. I was given 24 hours at one point... let’s not go there.
“My mum was strong, she was my rock. I was in and out of consciousness. Yes, Derek helped me. I did Piers Morgan and I spoke about this and it’s the last time I want to.”
Meanwhile, the Promise This singer, who unveiled a wax work of herself at London's Madame Tussauds yesterday, is also said to have given her fans a glimpse of her brand new leg tattoo.

When coming face-to-face with her wax self yesterday, Chezza flashed the new ink, which appears on her left thigh.
Cole already has a barbed wire tattoo around her right thigh, and her spokesperson has since confirmed that Cheryl has had a new design added to her left limb.
It is currently unknown what the new design is of, but from pictures, it appears to be a tail of some sort.
