Cheryl Cole has reportedly been offered a £3 million deal to judge on the US version ofGirls Aloud star was told over the weekend that she Simon Cowell, when the show launches Stateside next year.
Fox bosses allegedly flew to London to observe Cheryl on last Saturday's live show, and were obviously impressed when they decided they wanted Cole on board.
An American source told the tabloid: "The execs love her good looks and the way she wears her heart on her sleeve."
"It's a dream come true. Cheryl was absolutely delighted. She has really charmed the American execs. "
They added: "And of course her chemistry with Simon played a huge part in it. They are great together."
The Fight For This Love hitmaker is apparently still yet to sign the contract for the American talent show, with the newspaper claiming there are still some details to "iron out" but Chezza has been told the job is hers.
A spokesperson for the XF has refused to confirm the news, with Cheryl's reps, Supersonic PR, posting on Twitter: "Wonder how many times we will say 'no comment' today."
A insider close to Simon Cowell has since stated to The Mirror: "Simon has been thinking for months about who he wants."
"Cheryl was the first one to be told and verbally offered the job and she is very excited. She likes America and loves the idea of launching herself there so this is a great opportunity for her."
