Cheryl Cole's ex-bodyguard has reportedly claimed that the singer owes him $70,000.
US minder Craig Balkam, who protected Chezza during her three-month stint as a judge on The X Factor USA, is quoted by The Sun as saying: "I haven’t been paid a cent.”
The newspaper claims Balkam has decided to expose the Girls Aloud star after it emerged that she was suing XF USA and Blue Orbit Productions for £1.4million following her sacking from the show.
In papers obtained by The Daily Mail last week, Cheryl claimed she should be reimbursed for the cost of her personal security - with Craig now disputing this.
According to The Sun, the 6ft 3in bodyguard is said to have told a friend: "She’s got a lot of nerve — she’s ignored all my requests for payment.
"She has around £30 million in the bank and could pay me tomorrow with a click of her fingers, but is refusing to.”
The pal added: “Craig would have taken a bullet for that girl. He can’t believe what’s happened.”
Balkam has now apparently seen a lawyer about Cole - who is thought to have hired him herself.
A spokesman for Cheryl declined to comment to the tabloid.
