Cheryl Cole is allegedly "freaked out" that young girls with anorexia are using her images as 'inspiration' to starve themselves.
According to the Daily Star, the Girls Aloudbeauty is reportedly "deeply upset" after girls suffering from the eating disorder confessed to looking at pictures of Cole online in a bid to lose weight.
A source told the newspaper: "Cheryl has had her ups and downs and they have affected her weight.
"But when she heard young girls were holding her up as a way to starve themselves she freaked out."
They continued: “She’d hate people to think she starves herself. She is just naturally small and eats exactly what she wants.”
It has even been reported that videos of the 27-year old singer have been uploaded on Ashley Cole and after a bout of malaria last year, Cheryl also reportedly shed the pounds.
The X Factor judge has previously addressed her own weight issues, confessing to Vogue magazine that she "cried" when she weighed over nine stone back in 2002.
She revealed: "In the first year of Girls Aloud, I went up to a 29in waist. I remember crying because I was 9½st when I'm only 5ft 3in."
"Jennifer Aniston was doing the Atkins diet at the time and I thought I'd give it a try. I remember I ate the same thing - chicken in cream sauce with a couple of carrots - every night for weeks."
The Fight For This Lover singer added: "I felt just horrible, but I was on this mission."
Cheryl has since relaxed her extreme dieting, recently telling Glamour magazine that she doesn't have a particular fitness regime.
Cole claimed: ''I honestly don't have one. People give themselves too much of a hard time with stuff like that - just do it if you want to. I don't have a regime that I regularly stick to."
