Cheryl Cole is said to have received death threats over her decision to axe Girls Aloudstar stated: "Every1 has a bullet for you" and that she has made: "the biggest mistake of her life" not picking Nhengu.
The sender also shockingly added that if he can't get in contact with Cheryl, he will 'drop' any girl he finds with the same name as the 27-year old.
The threat, which has been circulated around the country via Will.I.Am, who helped her pick her final three girls at theBlack Eyed Peas rapper told The Mirror: "It was harder than it looked as every girl was a great singer. The ones who didn't have the X Factor could think it was mean or unfair. It's hard being judged for judging."
He is believed to have advised Cheryl to pick Cher Lloyd, who broke down in her audition, claiming that he though she was 'a risk worth taking.'
The Parachute hitmaker said: "Will's advice was vital as he was coming into this with fresh eyes. He had no pre-conceived ideas. I trust his instinct even above my own."
One person who doesn't trust Cheryl or Will's judgement is XF reject, Annastasia Baker, who has told The Sun she thinks the singer is 'two-faced' and 'heartless' when it came to picking her final three girls.
Baker, who was also axed by Cheryl at the Judges' Houses stage in 2008, claimed: "Cheryl is two-faced and completely heartless. She couldn't even say anything bad about my performances. She said I was so strong and I was ready for it. So why then tell me no?"
The 22-year old also added that Cher and Katie 'messed up' and that Lloyd is a 'chav' and Katie is a 'liar and a fake.'
As The X Factor debate rages on, Gamu Nhengu has reportedly been told she will have to return to her native Harare in Zimbabwe after officials have ruled against extending her stay in the UK.
