Cheryl Colewowed fans with a comeback performance at the Capital Summertime Ball this weekend.

The Geordie singer performed to the 80,000-strong crowd at Wembley Stadium in her first solo arena performance since her break.

She wore a white sports luxe-inspired two-piece, as she treated fans to an energetic set including Fight For This Love, Call My Name and her new single, Crazy Stupid Love.

She took to Instagram after her set to thank fans for their "amazing support".

And Chezza wasn't the only star bringing girl power to the stage.

Rita Ora revealed an embellished, red, fishnet one-piece from beneath a cloak before her performance.

The singer got the crowd jumping with her performance, and was backed by a troupe of monochrome-dressed dancers for a medley of RIP and How We Do.

She also shared a photo to her Instagram of herself with pal Iggy Azalea backstage.

Ellie Goulding also surprised fans by playing guitar during her performance for Burn, and ended her set with a confetti shower.

DJ Calvin Harris opened the show with his set as Jessie J, Little Mix and 5 Seconds of Summer also performed at the arena.

Pharrell Williams, Miley Cyrus, Ed Sheeran and Enrique Iglesias were among the other big names on the bill for Saturday's event.

Sam Smith fans were left disappointed though - the singer was forced to cancel his performance just hours before hitting the stage, after losing his voice.

The Stay With Me singer announced that he had to pull out of the concert via Instagram.
