Cheryl Cole has slammed a new report claiming she's trying to launch her career in America, calling it "pathetic" and "a load of s***".

In a lengthy Instagram post, the former Girls Aloud star has insisted she has "no desire" to crack the lucrative US market and revealed she's "refused many opportunities" that have been offered to her.

The Geordie babe published a pic of the article, which stated she planned to use her connection to reality star Kim Kardashian to become a star across the pond.

Alongside the snap, Chezza wrote: "This is really how pathetic it's got!!! There aren't enough words to tell you on here what a load of s*** they talk but they might get this as it is my 20,0000th time saying it!"

The 30-year-old brunette beauty fumed: "I have no desire or "big dreams" to 'break the states! I have been offered and refused many opportunities which I have chosen not to take lol! Get it through to your thick heads.."

I met Kim years ago and have seen her on more than this occasion. And fyi I think both Kayne and Jay-z are genius bc #fact! #boreoff" [sic]
