Cheryl Cole 'Starting Work On Fourth Solo Album'
As The Metro reports that she's settled her legal battle with The X Factor USA...
Cheryl Cole is reportedly gearing up to make her comeback to pop music.
According to Girls Aloud.
A source told the newspaper: "Cheryl’s taken time off this year so she can have a quiet life.
"She spent it with her family in Newcastle and London with her family and dogs. She loves her dogs. When she’s away on tour she’s missed them and wants to spend time with them."Picture: © Instagram / @LadyCCole
The friend went on to claim: "She’s been turning down work this year, including designing a fashion range for a major high street chain. She turned it down. It was a big lucrative deal.
"Cheryl needed to take time off for herself. She’s never had a break. She came off her solo tour and straight into Girls Aloud’s. When that finished in March she kept under the radar. She wanted time out."
Referencing the gorgeous Geordie's recent split with dancer beau Tre Holloway, the pal added: "Her relationship with Tre ended but they’re still friends. She’s needed this time off for her own sanity."
As for when Cheryl's fans - or Soldiers - can expect new material from the singer, the insider added: "She’s recorded a bit. In the new year she will ramp it up."
The news comes after rumours suggesting she could be making a return to the X Factor judging panel gather pace, especially after settling her legal battle with Blue Orbit over her dismissal from the US series.
The Metro reports that Chezza has received a estimated £1.4million from the production company, which covers a hefty bill of unpaid fees as a result of her sacking.
A spokesperson for the 30-year old stunner refused to comment on the settlement, but did confirm: "Cheryl’s dispute with Blue Orbit has been resolved amicably."
Over the weekend, it was reported that the Call My Name hitmaker wants £1.2m to return to the UK XF, with a source adding: "These things are never looked at until the contract is signed in May.
"There’s always going to be speculation about her going back next summer. Who knows right now if she will return?"
