Cheryl Cole Unveils New Album Artwork

As the singer apparently slams ex Ashley in LP track Happy Tears...

The artwork for Cheryl Cole's eagerly awaited second solo LP, Messy Little Raindrops, has been released.

The Girls Aloud star is looking gorgeous on the front cover for her next album, as she wears a bright orange and pink off the shoulder dress teamed with five-inch animal print Louboutin heels.

The image of Cheryl also shows her WITHOUT her famous barbed-wire and rose tattoo on her right thigh, which has been removed for the smouldering snap.

It also features the album title and her name scrawled in orange text, which is rumoured to be the Promise This singer's handwriting.

Chezza, who recovered from her battle with malaria shortly before the album shot was taken, is also said to have slated her ex-hubby, Ashley Cole, in a song on the new record.

According to The Sun, The X Factor judge has recorded a song about the cheating footballer, entitled Happy Tears, which includes lyrics about wanting to 'slash his tyres' and 'burning his suits.'

Unlike her last LP, 3 Words, where she was fighting for love, it seems Chezza has well and truly given up, explaining in the track that she cried 'happy tears' when leaving Ash.

Cheryl sings: "I cried when I heard you were cheatin'/I cried when I said I was leavin'/I cried when my heart stopped believin'/But I'm all out of tears."

Although the Parachute singer didn't write the track herself, it has been reported that she approved the lyrics.

As well as slamming Ashley on Messy Little Raindrops, Chezza has also teamed up with the likes of Travie McCoy and Dizzee Rascal on the album.

Her collaboration with Dizzee includes the rap: "Raised in the gutter/I came from the bottom, under-privileged and overly rotten/ I heard in Scotland they call it The Schemes/ So I plugged and plotted to follow my dreams."

Meanwhile, in other Cheryl Cole news, ITV has confirmed that Chez will appear on Piers Morgan's Life Stories on 23rd October at 10pm -  the day before her fourth solo single, Promise This is released.

An ITV listing stated: "In an exclusive interview, Cheryl Cole speaks candidly to Piers Morgan for the first time about her split from Ashley Cole and her battle with malaria."
