Cheryl Cole Used To Promote 'Russian Brides'
Chezza is apparently 'livid' after her image appears on website…
Cheryl Cole is reportedly 'livid' after discovering that her image has been used on a website offering contact with Russian women looking for marriage.
The website, RussianBrides.org had been using an old Girls Aloud promo shot of Cheryl wearing a white cardigan.

A source 'close to Cheryl' has told the Daily Star:
"She is one of the world’s most beautiful women and it’s not surprising people want to use her image to attract customers.
"However she is extremely careful about any products she endorses - and this Russian bride agency is most certainly not one of them. It is clearly a deception and the plug needs to be pulled on it."

When contacted by the Daily Star, the owner of the Russian site Irina Grebneva claimed that she had only used Cheryl's image "by mistake" and that she had never heard of the Promise This star before. The pictures have now been removed.
This is not the first time Cheryl's image has been exploited by a dodgy website, after it was revealed last year that an image of Girls Aloud was being used on a Russian escort agency's website illegally.
