Cheryl Cole "Worried US Public Won't Like Her"
If she lands a role on X Factor USA, Chezza is scared she will be a flop...
According to the Daily Star, the Girls Aloud beauty is allegedly nervous about how the US public will receive her if she gets the job, and fears she may be a flop on the show.
Despite not yet being officially confirmed for the Stateside series, a source told the tabloid: "Things are practically in place for Cheryl to join the judging panel of US X Factor."
"But now the reality of it is beginning to sink in. She is worried [the US public] won't warm to her. Everything is riding on her appearance on the show because, if she's a hit with fans, her solo career will be a guaranteed success."
It is thought that Chezza's close friendSimon Cowell has been working hard to persuade Fox TV bosses that the gorgeous Geordie is the right woman for the job, with a source telling the newspaper: "He's told her a contract could be signed next week if everything goes to plan."
They added: "Despite telling people she feels relaxed and calm, behind closed doors she's a nervous wreck."
Confirmed judge L.A. Reid appeared to recently announce that Cheryl would be on the US panel with himself and SiCo, stating that he has no idea who the other female judge is.
It is thought that Cowell will confirm the official X Factor USA judging line-up at the end of this month, ending weeks and weeks of speculation.
