Cheryl Cole’s Floral Bum Tattoo ‘Took 50 Hours’
Cheryl Cole's huge floral bum tattoo reportedly took 50 hours to complete.
Renowned US artist Nikko Hurtado told The Sun that Cheryl endured a total of six eight-hour sessions under the needle.
Based on the fact that Nikko charges £250 an hour, the paper has worked out that Chezza paid £12,500 for the elaborate rose tattoo.
Nikko also revealed that the new floral design was created to disguise a botched tattoo on the popstar's bottom, which was done by another artist.
He said: “The tattoo was what we call a fix-it job. Another artist was referred to her, but it didn’t quite turn out how she wanted it so she came to me to work on the tattoo some more.
“Cheryl’s tattoo was done over a number of visits to the US and she would sit through long sessions and wouldn’t need to take a break. She’s tough, man.
“But, she’s also so wonderful and down to earth. She really doesn’t know how beautiful she is.”
Nikko, 32, has been a tattoo artist for more than a decade and has enjoyed guest spots on reality TV shows LA Ink and Tattoo Wars.
