Cheryl 'Could Lose £630k In X Factor USA Legal Battle'

Cheryl Coleapparently stands to lose a whopping £630,000 in her legal battle [uuid=15346d79-2083-48d5-a341-4b75605a945a]The X Factor USA.

 

Chezza is suing show makers Blue Orbit after she was sacked from the panel in 2011, with The Mirror adding she is demanding around £2million.

 

The tabloid adds that the former Girls Aloud star's management will be quizzed by a lawyer over her contract with Blue Orbit, and if they fail to reach an agreement, Cheryl may have to face ex-boss and frenemy Simon Cowell in court.

 

 

A court date is expected to be announce on January 22 if they do not reach a deal. 

 

If the Call My Name singer loses the battle, Blue Orbit could demand over £320k in legal fees, as well as her own costs.

 

A source told the paper: "The stakes are very high for Cheryl. It’s quite stressful as Blue Orbit are putting up a fight.

 

 

"No expense is being spared. The judge agreed lawyers can fly to the UK to speak to Cheryl’s team. That alone could cost £48,000."

 

They added: "Both sides believe they are right and refuse to back down. Cheryl could face ­shelling out £630,000 if she loses.”

 

Chezza and SiCo have since put their XF USA differences aside, with the music mogul even making the Geordie star a lady on her 30th birthday.
