Cheryl Coleis well on her way to scoring the fastest-selling single of 2012 with Girls Aloud star has managed to shift a cool 97,000 copies of the track since its release on Sunday - blasting it to the top of the midweek countdown.
Chezza herself seemed surprised by the success of the song, tweeting shortly after unleashing the tune on 10th June: "I CANT BELIEVE WHAT I AM SEEING.. How can Call My Name be no 1 on itunes and i only put it out at Midnight.."
The 28-year old added: "You lot are UNBELIEVABLE.."
Cole has managed to fight off some tough competition from Gary Barlowand the Commonwealth Band's former No.1 Sing - which are currently in second and third place respectively.
Earlier this week, the Fight For This Love hitmaker confirmed plans for her first arena tour, joking that she wants to "fly and swan-dive" during the shows.
Speaking of her tour, she told Sugarscape: "I would fly, I would swan-dive. I would have a b-stage and a c-stage, I would do all of it. Tricks. I love bells and whistles
"I want people to go away feeling excited, like that was the best thing they've ever seen. You know when you leave a concert and you feel hyper? That's what I want."
Chezza has also dismissed criticism by those who have slammed her vocal ability after she was accused of miming on The Voice UK, telling The Sun: "I am very aware of my ability, I know I’m no Mariah Carey but I think the emotion in the song is what matters.
“It’s making people feel what you’re singing about. My new album is designed to entertain and I know when I take to the stage and I see a million little lights it really is game time."
