Cheryl Cole is reportedly set to leave the UK after finalising her divorce.

It’s claimed she’s set to hit the States to be a judge on X Factor US- which will launch next year.

A source told the Evening Standard: “She is very close to signing a deal worth millions with Simon [Cowell]. Ashley has been the major factor holding her back.”

“But now she will be free to pursue her career in America, where Simon is convinced she could be a huge star.”

Chezza is also likely to return to British screens in the Autumn for the next series of the X Factor in the UK.

The Girls Aloud star is hoping to complete divorce proceedings with England footballer Ashley Cole before the World Cup starts in June.

He allegedly had affairs with a string of women. Reports say she wants half of their marital assets and the couple’s two pet dogs in the settlement.
