Cheryl's Fury Over X Factor USA Sacking 'A Fantasy'
SiCo's unofficial biographer Tom Bower has disputed her claims...
Cheryl Cole's fury over her sacking from The X Factor USA has been branded "a fantasy" by Simon Cowell's unofficial biographer, Girls Aloud star wrote: "[Cowell] didn't even have the guts to phone or send a message warning me what was coming.
"I was furious with Simon for letting it happen like this. I believed we had a good friendship and I couldn't understand why he just hadn't been straight with me."
Chezza then explained that she sent SiCo an expletive-ridden text - and told him: "'F**k you. F**k Britain's Got Talent. F**k the orange and purple outfit. F**k big hair. F**k the UK X Factor. F**k you all. I hate you.
"I understand you're a businessman, and what I've learned from this is that business means more to you than friendship. I'm sad it's got like this and I wish you the best of luck, but count me out."
However, her claims have been disputed by Bower, who suggests that Cowell had an "absolute hoot" reading her version of events.
Bower is quoted by Now magazine as saying: "Cheryl's version of what happened in America is a complete fantasy. I was there and I watched it all. Simon kept trying to talk to her, but she kept refusing to take his calls.
"Philip Green [Topshop owner] even tried to talk to her on Simon's behalf. Whenever I saw her on the show, she looked utterly miserable."
He added: "She just sat with her brother, picking at an awful looking salad every day in silence."
