The rapper's mum, Girls Aloudstar, who allegedly 'grew closer' to the X Factor judge, who Ashley Cole is now said to have asked her management to change her work schedule so that she doesn't have to see her ex-beau for at least a year.
According to reports, the Parachute singer made the request to help her 'get over' the break down of their marriage.
A source told The Daily Star: "Her timetable is pretty busy and she doesn't have a lot of scope to change it. But one of her main requests was to make sure she doesn't see Ashley."
It has been reported that Cheryl is so adamant to avoid Ashely, she has even cancelled her performance at the FIFA World Cup in South Africa as performing at the tournament would have been 'too much' for her.
