Cheryl Begins Festivities With Christmas Lights Switch-On
The chart-topping singer had the honour of pressing the big button that turns on all the lights on Oxford Street last night...
Cheryl Fernandez-Versini took to Oxford Street last night to switch on the Christmas lights and officially begin the festive season.
Thousands of people gathered in London to watch the X Factor judge turn on the pretty lights, as Capital FM radio hosts Lisa Snowdon and Dave Berry presented the evening.
The singer wrapped up warm for the chilly evening in a chic military coat, teamed with her hair in a bouncy high pony tail.
Cheryl was joined for the event by the cast of West End musical Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, as well as singer Jess Glynne.
Rixton and Neon Jungle also took to the stage for the mid-week gig, which was held on a specially built stage outside John Lewis.
The lights are pretty epic, what with their being 1,778 glowing orbs that will illuminate the street until January 4.
Chezza is currently on course for her fifth number one this weekend, with her new song 'I Don't Care'.
