Cheryl Fernandez-Versini Set To Divorce Husband Jean-Bernard

After weeks of rumours, the news has officially hit that Cheryl Fernandez-Versini will be divorcing hubby Jean-Bernard.

According to reports, the paperwork has already been filed and is well on its way to finalising the split, after it's been revealed the pair experienced 'irreconcilable differences'.

While much was said about Cheryl's dramatic weight loss during her stint on last year's X Factor, some believed it was due to to stress and an unhappy life at home - a claim the former Girls Aloud singer had always denied. Chezza was quick to slam the so-called bodyshamers who were criticising her petite frame.

The couple had only been married 18 months after a whirlwind romance and subsequent wedding that came after just a few months of dating.

And a source reckons they in fact split a while back: "They actually split up in August. They are still very good friends but are now getting a divorce."

Cheryl's Instagram has been littered with cryptic messages as of late, with her last few posts implying a lot but saying very little.

Was that a hint at 2016 being a fresh year and a time to put the past behind her?

It appears that it was, especially if you look at her previous post, which was her giving the middle finger to 2015, saying: 'Bye 2015.. 👋🏼👋🏼👋🏼 you've been real!!!!! You have taught me a lot but I am happy to see the back of you !!'

We hope the Fight For This Love singer can move on and make 2016 a year to be fond over in 12 months time, and not one to look back and loathe over.
