Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has worried fans by suggesting that she might be too poorly to take up her judge’s seat on this weekend's X Factor.

The talent show judge apologised for being absent from social media recently but said it was because she has been "so sick" over the past few days.

Chezza, who didn’t reveal the nature of her illness, assured fans that she is doing everything she can to get better in time for Saturday night's show.

Cheryl has just one act left in the competition, 17-year-old Lauren Platt - with ITV confirming that there will be a double elimination this weekend.
