Cheryl Fernandez Versini and Liam Payne got into the Christmas spirit as they shared an Elfie Selfie with fans.

The 33-year-old Promise This singer uploaded the picture to her Instagram with 23-year-old 1D hunk Liam at her side.

The love birds gave themselves an extreme Christmas make-over by turning themselves into elf characters.

Wishing fans a Merry Christmas, Chez – who is reportedly pregnant with Little Things singer Liam’s baby – wrote: “Merry Christmas from our families to yours. Hope you’ve had a great day.”

Like the gift the keeps giving, Cheryl also sent a hand written note to her online fanbase – with CherylDaily sharing it on Twitter.

“I just wanted to say a big Thank You to all of you for another year of your love and support,” she wrote to her fans.

“You really are the best!” she added.
