Cheryl Bans Under-18s From Her Record Label
The X Factor judge has stated there is too much pressure when it comes to child stars...
Chezza also went on to add that she is planning an 18-month artist development course to prepare her new artists for the showbiz world after Girls Aloud were criticised by management for putting on weight.
The 31-year old claimed: "It’s outrageous and it’s sad.
“Talent doesn’t have anything to do with how you look. Aretha Franklin is not a small woman and she’s got one of the greatest voices in the world.“But all those polls – ‘who looks better?’. Pitting women against each other. You never see two men in the same suit, do you?'"
Cheryl continued: “I would nurture the artist before they put anything out there. I would ensure my girls do a preparation course.
“I love the aspect of X Factor where I’m nurturing talent. Watching the sparkle in someone else’s eye and remembering you having that dream, it’s such a buzz.”
The gorgeous Geordie went on to have a dig at fellow X Factor judge Simon Cowell who previously stated that Chez had put on weight when she joined the US version of the talent show in 2011.
Mrs Fernandez-Versini said: “At the age of 55, he hasn’t learnt that a gentleman shouldn’t talk about a woman’s weight.”
Cheryl concluded that it would be “ambitious” to say that she would have started her record label by next year, adding: “These things take a long time. I have to get the right team.”
We're sure SiCo will give you hand Chez!
