Cheryl On New Album: "I’m Not Saving Lives, I’m Making Pop Music"
EXCLUSIVE! The Crazy Stupid Love singer tells MTV News all about her fourth studio LP...
Cheryl has disclosed details concerning her upcoming album stating that she's going back down the pop route for her fourth LP.
When asked about her forthcoming release at the X Factor auditions on Friday (August 1), the Crazy Stupid Love singer told MTV News UK: "The album is the most versatile album I’ve done so far. There’s a lot of flavours on there.
"I wanted to go back to the pop route and do a lot of pop, there’s a bit of RnB on there, a bit of 90s dance vibes, I mean it’s just fun, you know it’s hopeful, it’s up-lifting."
The Girls Aloud babe added: "I just want people to enjoy themselves for an hour… I’m not saving lives, I’m making pop music you know."
As well as discussing her new music, Chezza also explained that despite getting hitched to Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini, she will be known as "just Cheryl" professionally. The 31-year old beauty explained: "It’s just Cheryl, keeps everything simple, people seem to be having a hard time so you can just call us Cheryl."
'Just' Cheryl's new album is due for release later this year! We can't wait to hear it…
