Cheryl Wishes Everyone A Happy 2017 Following Hoax Twitter Pregnancy Confirmation
The singer was all over social media as the world celebrated entering 2017
Cheryl Fernandez Versini has wished fans a happy new year just hours after a hoax twitter account ‘confirmed’ her long suspected pregnancy.
The Parachute singer took to social media before the clocks struck midnight on Saturday to spread good wishes to her loyal followers.
“For 2017 I wish for you to live, love, laugh and learn wishing you all happiness health & prosperity,” the singer wrote on Twitter.
She also shared a picture of herself photoshopped to look like a cat as an added delight to fans.
Hours earlier, a hoax Twitter account had been set up to suggest Cheryl had confirmed she was pregnant with boyfriend Liam Payne’s child.
“So excited for what 2017 has in store, I’m ready!” the offending tweet said alongside emojis including a baby, bottle and two people kissing.
While some fans fell for the trick, others reacted in fury.
“This is disgusting,” one fan raged, while another replied saying: “Let Cheryl tell us when she is ready.”
