Netflix keeps dropping hit after hit, and it doesn’t look like their winning streak when it comes to creating TVgold is ending any time soon.

Riverdale creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa has given the people what they want in the form of brand new Archie Comics based series Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, and it’s safe to say it’s going to be your new obsession.

So, let’s not miss out because that’d be 'bloody' dreadful. Little Halloween pun there - again, you're welcome.

Here’s everything you need to know before the show begins in just a matter of weeks.

When Will Filming Begin?

It’s finished. Well, kind of. The show has been commissioned for two seasons straight off the bat, which are both being filmed back-to-back until 5th December.

This means season one is most likely finished with filming for season two currently underway.

What Can We Expect From The Plot?

This reboot is exploring the darker side of Sabrina Spellman, in complete contrast to Sabrina The Teenage Witch.

With Riverdale showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa at the helm, the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina will take its lead from the Archie Comics. It’s been slated to have the same tone as the The Exorcist and Rosemary’s Baby, but obviously, it’s teen-ified. Is that a word? Well it is now.

The official description from Netflix says: “This adaptation finds Sabrina wrestling to reconcile her dual nature — half-witch, half-mortal — while standing against the evil forces that threaten her, her family and the daylight world humans inhabit”.

The Cast: Who’s In It?

Unfortunately Melissa Joan Hart is nowhere to be seen, but with the darker revamp of the show a completely new cast seems fitting.

Mad Men star Kiernan Shipka is cast as Sabrina Spellman with Ross Lynch cast as her love interest, Harvey. Lucy Davis and Miranda Otto have landed the iconic roles of Hilda and Zelda Spellman, respectively.

We really hope Hilda is still the master of sarcasm we all know her to be.

Will There Be A Riverdale Cross Over?

With both Riverdale and the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina being written by Roberto, and taking place within the same universe, it’s quite likely.

Although you can expect season one to remain solo, as the show wants to find its footing before venturing into other parts of the Archie universe. Still, there’s hope for the future.
