Chipmunkhas exclusively revealed toChris Brown on new single,Rihanna back in 2009 - Chipmunk revealed: "I wasn’t, but everyone else was for me, but that just made me want to do it even more."
He continued: "What I wanted from this song was for it to touch hearts so if it does that, I will be extremely happy. I just couldn’t imagine anyone else singing on it but him, so I sent it over to him. He loved it and I told him he could have a verse."
As for Brown's attempt at rapping on Champion, Chip Diddy Chip had nothing but praise for the Yeah 3x singer, claiming: "I feel like it was absolutely amazing and brought a whole other dimension to the song."
"I was trying to work out why he wanted to do it on my song but I just loved it! His verse is his view about how he feels about his life right now and he chose to expose it on my record. He has very talented rapping skills."
The 20-year old MC also added that despite Brown's shady past, he thinks people may be starting to forgive Chris for his attack on RiRi two years ago, stating: "I feel people may have forgiven him. He has had a number one film and single in America since then."
