Chloe Moretz Reveals The Moment That Prompted Her To Consider A Boob Job Aged Sixteen

Chloe Moretz has opened up about the pressures of growing up in Hollywood and revealed that she seriously considered undergoing a breast enhancement operation aged just sixteen.

The actor has given an interview to the Sunday Times in which she revealed that somebody once left a silicone padded bra in her trailer while she was shooting a movie.

Admitting that the incident left her feeling insecure about her appearance, the 21-year-old said: “Even though you can brush them off, you still internalise them. They make you question yourself and think, "Well, maybe I am unhappy with the size of my breasts’’.

Pointing out that her perspective has shifted in recent years, Chloe said: “I've had to look at Hollywood my whole life. The people I've been comparing myself to are people who are not real.”

This isn’t the first time Chloe has opened up about the unrealistic expectations in the industry. In an interview with Elle Magazine in 2016, she revealed that she spent a good portion of her teenage years finding fault with various aspects of her appearance. 

“When I was 16, I wanted a boob job. I wanted the fat pad under my chin to be removed. I wanted a butt reduction, or whatever,” she began.

After listening to her mum - who advised her to not enhance any aspect of her appearance - Chloe said: “Because of that, I found a lot of power within my insecurities. They're what make me who I am now.”
