Chris Brown Has Probation Revoked In Rihanna Assault Case

The star found himself in hot water with a judge following his doomed show in San Jose...

Chris Brown has had his probation revoked by a judge after he travelled to a gig without permission and failed to complete his community service on time.

Breezy is currently on probation for his 2009 assault on then-girlfriend Rihanna, with Los Angeles Superior Court judge James Brandlin allowing the Loyal hitmaker his freedom until a March 20 hearing.

[related]On this date, the judge will receive an update from probation officials and will decide the 25-year old's fate.

Back in December, Brown was told that he could not leave LA County without permission - with the star breaking that order by performing in San Jose over the weekend.

That concert resulted in five people getting shot, while the singer was not involved in the incident and escaped unharmed.

Chris' lawyer Mark Geragos insisted to Judge Brandlin that his office incorrectly advised Breezy that he didn't need permission to travel.

The R&B star was originally ordered to complete 1,000 hours of community service following his attack on RiRi, and has around 200 hours remaining which he must finish this month.
