Chris Brown Hit-And-Run Case Dismissed

Singer & victim are said to have come to a 'civil compromise'...

Chris Brown's hit-and-run case has been dismissed during a hearing in Los Angeles yesterday (August 15).
According to TMZ, Breezy and the victim came to a 'civil compromise' - putting an end to the case.
However, the prosecutor in the case argued that the singer deserved to be punished for allegedly leaving the scene of the accident because he is still on felony probation from his 2009 assault on former girlfriend Rihanna.
The website adds that the judge disagreed and the victim in the case was reportedly not interested in payment from Brown because the damage to her car was so minor and she'd asked for the matter to be dismissed.
The L.A. City Attorney objected, though, arguing that Brown was very aggressive to the victim and called her 'a b*tch.'
Brown's lawyer, Mark Geragos, has since told TMZ: "The case never should have been filed in the first place. It's unfortunate he was being prosecuted for who he is rather than what he's done."
The Turn Up The Music hitmaker also took to Twitter to comment on the episode, tweeting a link to TMZ's story along with the caption: "Thank GOD!"
A spokesperson for Brown also confirmed that the[uuid=1bb1d78b-9b78-4661-bc4c-75be00960160] 24-year old suffered anonepileptic seizure[/uuid] while in the recording studio last Friday, revealing that it was partially a result of the stresses of his ongoing legal problems.
The statement read: "His doctor tended to him this afternoon and attributes the NES to intense fatigue and extreme emotional stress, both due to the continued onslaught of unfounded legal matters and the nonstop negativity."
Brown's probation in the RiRi case was [uuid=a6f59577-7cb0-4d0c-bbc1-fd804277626d]revoked in July in connection[/uuid] with the hit-and-run and the singer spent less than an hour in jail on the charge last week.
He is due in court on Monday (August 19) for a probation hearing and could face up to four years in jail if he is found in violation.
