Chris Brownis thought to have rejected a plea deal in regards to his ongoing [uuid=a22f50bd-e1d9-4d9f-bda0-97f3cc494b5d]Rihanna was later [uuid=10bf5c59-1e19-46d9-8ff2-734aabbc4025]revoked[/uuid], with the 24-year old ordered to complete a 90-day stint in rehab.

TMZ has since reported that during a hearing at Washington court yesterday (January 8), a prosecutor revealed that Chris had been offered a deal to reduce his current misdemeanor assault charge to simple assault, which he declined.

The decision means that Brown could face a more serious penalty if convicted for the assault, with the R&B bad boy continuing to deny the charges.

Law enforcement sources added to the website that Breezy's choice to refuse the deal could be down to the fact that his lawyer, Mark Geragos, is still waiting to see CCTV footage of the alleged incident before coming to any kind of agreement.
