Chris Brown Released From Jail After Pleading Not Guilty
The original charge of felony assault has also been downgraded...
As we previously reported, the Love More singer was arrested in the early hours of Sunday morning (October 27) along with his bodyguard Christopher Hollosy after allegedly attacking a man outside the W Hotel in Washington, DC.
During a hearing on Monday (October 28), the felony charge was reduced to simple assault, with both Breezy and Hollosy pleading not guilty and released without bail.
Chris' lawyer Danny Onorato, said in a statement: "Christopher Brown committed no crime.
"We understand that his security acted to protect Mr Brown and Mr Brown's property as he is authorised to do under District of Columbia law. We are confident that Mr Brown will be exonerated of any wrongdoing."
The man who Brown is said to have assaulted accused the 24-year old of making homophobic slurs before striking him in the face, reportedly 'breaking his nose'.
The Turn Up The Music hitmaker is currently still on probation relating to his 2009 assault on then-girlfriend Rihanna.
