Chris Brownhas taken to Twitter to slam a report by US website TMZ claiming that he has been charged with a hit-and-run offence.
Last month, it was claimed that[uuid=56adcf42-ce8b-490d-b304-b9217ab822fb] Breezy was involved in a collision[/uuid] with another vehicle, but initially refused to hand over his licence number and insurance information to the other driver.
Despite both Breezy and his lawyer Mark Geragos denying [uuid=56adcf42-ce8b-490d-b304-b9217ab822fb]that any foul play had taken place[/uuid], TMZ has alleged that after a criminal investigation, the Los Angeles City Attorney has now filed two criminal charges against the singer.
It is thought the charges are for the hit-and-run itself and for driving without a valid licence, with the website adding Brown could face six months in jail for each charge if convicted.
TMZ claim that the case has also been referred to the Los Angeles County District Attorney as a possible violation of the probation that Brown is serving for assaulting then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009 - adding he could face more jail time if it turns out he has violated terms of his probation.
Chris has now rubbished the allegations, tweeting: "It's not a hit and run if u get out the car, exchange information (who has NO DAMAGE to either cars).This is really ridiculous.
"I have a valid drivers license and I gave the woman the right info. She saw cameras and wanted to make a scene.
"She contacted the cops thinking of a payday from Chris Brown when I followed the proper procedures."
The Turn Up The Music hitmaker then went on to[uuid=1f664ebb-2899-4fe7-a7e3-c69e101d7978] reference rumours that he assaulted[/uuid] a 24-year old woman - a story which he has also denied - adding: "@tmz is the devil.. Just yesterday you guys were accusing me of assaulting someone( which was false) and now today it's some more bs.
"My lawyers will be contacting you. I will not stand for this bullying and yellow journalism!"
Brown then changed his Twitter profile picture to the car which was involved in the alleged accident, concluding: "My profile pic is the pic I took of the persons car after "the hit and run". NO damage. Just a dirty car.once again, I gotta clear my name."

He then continued to rant: "I work my ass off to provide for my entire family. I've made mistakes in the past and have worked hard to be a better person.

"19-24 years of age. I don't have all the answers and you can't show me a person that age who has it figured out.We live and grow.Let me live."
