Why Has Chris Brown Issued A Plea To US President Barack Obama?!

And why can't he leave the Philippines? We've got the answers here...

Chris Brown made a bizarre appeal to US President Barack Obama on Instagram after he was reportedly barred from leaving the Philippines earlier this week.

In the now-deleted clip, Breezy was seen pleading on his knees as he jokingly begged to leave Manila on Thursday (July 23).

According to the Mail Online, the 'Five More Hours' singer was banned from leaving the Philippine capital following fraud allegations against him and his promoter for a scrapped gig last New Year's Eve.

In a string tweets - which have now disappeared from his timeline - Brown wrote: "I have nothing to do with anything going on right now. I came back to Manila to do a make up show for New Years. I did show 3 days ago.

"This is a very serious situation and someone needs to be held accountable for mixing my name up in all this. I've done nothing wrong!!!"

The 26-year old then appeared to be desperate to get back home to the States, uploading three crazy clips of himself in his hotel room break dancing and back flipping in front of his friends.

One of the vids, which has since been removed, showed him saying: 'Can somebody please tell me what the f*** is going on? I don't know. I'm reading headline after headline. What the f***? What the f*** is going on."

Another clip - captioned 'OBAMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!' - showed him pleading on his knees as he said: "Please, let us leave", in a mock appeal to the President.

After Brown and his promoter were prevented from leaving Manila on a private plane, they later received clearance from the immigration bureau but are yet to fly home.

The news comes after Chris took to Instagram on Wednesday (July 22)to voice that he's tired of being misunderstood, causing concern to fans with his post, in which he asked for "help and guidance".
