Chris Pratt 'In Talks For Magnificent Seven Remake'
He's already gone from loveable buffoon Andy in Parks And Recreation to fully-fledged action hero in Guardians Of The Galaxy - and soon Jurassic World.
And now Chris Pratt could be set to saddle up for that most macho of movie genres - the western - in a remake of The Magnificent Seven.
Deadline reports that the 35-year-old star is in talks to appear in Antoine Fuqua's retelling of John Sturges' 1960 classic - which starred Yul Brynner, Steve McQueen and Charles Bronson among others.
Denzel Washington is already cast in the tale of a band of gunslingers who help protect a village of peasants from bandits, with Pratt apparently up for the part of a gunfighter called "Farraday".
The Magnificent Seven was itself a re-telling of Akira Kurosawa's Seven Samurai - a hugely influential Japanese movie from 1954.
