Chris Pratt On Those Indiana Jones Reboot Rumours

Movie star tells MTV that it would 'have to be perfect'...

Chris Pratt has addressed rumours that he's in the frame to play Indiana Jones in a reboot of the classic movie franchise.

The Guardians Of The Galaxy and Jurassic World star seemed to be cautiously positive about the prospect of taking over Indy's famous fedora and bullwhip from Harrison Ford when MTV caught up with him on the Oscars red carpet.

The 35-year-old actor stressed that it's "all nothing 'till it's something, and so far it's not something".

But he insisted that he's not overawed at the prospect of reviving such an iconic character.

"I don't think it's overwhelming to contemplate," he said. "It'd be cool. No-one's called me, you know, there's a lot of talk about it.

"The pressure would come just because it's a great franchise, you wouldn't wanna get it wrong. So, for me, it would have to be perfect to do it. We'll see."

We told you at the weekend that Steven Spielberg is reportedly set to direct the reboot himself.
