Chrissy Teigen And John Legend Announce The Name Of Their Newborn Son

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend have announced the name of their newborn son after welcoming their second child into the world last week.

It’s been four days since the model revealed that she’d finally given birth, and fans have now been blessed with both an image of Miles Theodore Stephens and an explanation about the meaning behind his super-cute name.

“Hello, world! This is Miles Theodore Stephens – We are drowning in his little peeps and nuzzles,” Chrissy wrote on Instagram. “Our household feels overwhelmed with love. Thank you for all your well wishes!”

In an interview on the Billboard Music Awards red-carpet, John confirmed to E! News that the couple named their son after a musical icon. “Every name we give to our kids I think will have a little bit of musical history to it. 

“Miles of course is the same name as the great Miles Davis and Chrissy really liked the name Theodore, so we put it all together and had Miles Theodore Stephens," he said. "When he came out and we hung out with him for a little while, we were like, 'He looks like a Miles.'"

Joking that giving birth was a lot easier this time around, Chrissy recently wrote on social-media: “I can confirm postpartum life is 90% better when you don’t rip to your butthole. Baby boy: 1 point. Luna: 0.”
