Chrissy Teigen Required Medical Help After Eating Too Many Spicy Chicken Wings

Remember when Lil Xan had to go to hospital for eating too many hot Cheetos and we all thought it was kinda crazy? Well, it turns out spicy seasoning is a real damn hazard, as it's gone and struck again.

This time Chrissy Teigen fell victim to the wrath of hot sauce when she took on We Feast's Hot Ones challenge, which sees host Sean Evans feed interviewees chicken wings with increasingly spicy sauce as they're grilled.

The celeb is grilled, not the chicken, just so we're clear.

Now we all know that Chrissy is a gal who's all about the food, so she wasn't gonna wimp out at any point like some stars have who've gone before her.

But her sheer bravery and commitment to the spice proved detrimental.

Declaring at the beginning of the interview: “I’m a wing freak, I’m a hot sauce freak, I’m a hot wing freak,” Chrissy's fate was sealed from the word go.

Taking to Twitter the following day, she revealed the extent of her injuries.

"I did hot ones yesterday. Now I’m at my throat doctor," she began.

And it looks like it was the fiery sauce, Da Bomb, that really screwed her over, as she admitted: "That's the one that got me. My tongue is literally ripped.

Yikes.

This whole ordeal went down two weeks ago, and now Chrissy has updated fans on her recovery after the full interview came out yesterday.

And despite its downfalls, she's calling it her best interview ever.

"It took me two weeks of CBD pills to tame the constant twitching of my eyebrows after “da bomb” - but I’ve never had a better interview. I love you guys," she wrote.
