Christina Aguilera has confirmed details concerning her new album, revealing it will be called Lotus.
Xtina was quizzed by fans on Twitter regarding her forthcoming release, with The Voice USA coach replying: "Album title: Lotus. Representing an unbreakable flower that survives under the hardest conditions and still thrives. #YourBody."
The singer added: "There will be a 'Lotus' intro to set the tone for the whole record. Conceptually I didn't target one particular sound/genre. Self expression and freedom [are album themes]. The album represents a rebirth for me."
She then unveiled the artwork for her new single, Your Body - which shows the singer posing naked with her hair and see-through material protecting her modesty.
Accompanying the image, Aguilera added the comment: "Can't wait for you all to hear it. Friday (14th September) it comes out."
A demo of Your Body previously leaked online, but was removed after Sony Music requested that it was taken down due to copyright reasons.
Lotus will be released in November and fans can catch a glimpse of Aguilera's Your Body video during The Voice USA on Monday (17th September).
