Christina Aguilera is a living legend. Ever since she released her debut single 'Genie in a Bottle' back in 1999, the Grammy Award winningsuperstar has dominated the charts and helped shape the sound of pop. Her talent and influence is undeniable.

And now she's back. Nearly six years after putting out her last album, Christina has new music out this week.

Speculation that the 'Can't Hold Us Down' hitmaker would be releasing an album this year has been rife and now the icon has finally confirmed it. Christina has posted two mysterious teasers on Twitterand fans have already deduced what they mean.

The first video contains multiple clues including 'X6 [1] - 5318' which seems to imply that the lead single '[1]' from Christina's sixth album 'X6' comes out May 3rd, 2018 '5318'. Amazing, right? So that means that it's just two days until Christina is back.

To make things even more exciting, the hints in the clip also appearto confirm that Christina's new album is titled 'Liberation' 'LIBER-XX-10' and that Demi Lovato is indeed featured on it ('Y45 D3-M1'). In other words, it is all happening. X6 is coming.

The second teaser video is less specific but it does containsome gorgeous backing music as Christina announces: "You feel in life when you get to a place where you feel so comfortable and so routine then you have to stop and start from scratch."

The lead single out this week is reportedly titled 'Accelerate' and features Ty Dolla $ign and 2 Chainz.

Regardless of whether or not the fan theories are true, we can't wait to hear new Christina.

She is one of the most talented singers in music. We know that this will be worth the wait.
