Christina Aguilera turned Londons Koko into a jazz club, with a hint on burlesque, last night (July 20) at a special gig for fans and invited guests.
The gig, hosted by Sony Ericsson, saw little Aguilera play a 40-minute set comprised of tracks from her new album Back To Basics, including Candyman, My Mother, and current single Aint No Other Man; and classics Lady Marmalade and Beautiful.
Celeb guests included Lemar, Michelle Ryan, footballers Michael Carrick and Jermaine Jenas, lots of models and page 3 girls, and various people from Hollyoaks.
The gig reflected the jazz club mood of Christinas new album, with a swinging brass-heavy backing band and fit dancers bounding sexily around the stage.
Christinas costume change, from hotpants and sequin halterneck to bum-hugging sailors outfit, gave the show a camp burlesque edge to the sultry jazziness.
Apart from those that had their phones confiscated for trying to get shots of Aguileras wonderful bum, it was fun for all involved.
Catch Christina Aguilera on 1 Leicester Square, this Sunday at 8pm on MTV.
