Christina Aguilera gave birth to a baby boy on Friday (January 11), she's confirmed through her website.

The Genie In A Bottle diva has had a "beautiful, healthy baby boy" who weighed 6lb 2oz. She added: "(it's) a very joyful and special day for Jordan and I."

Aguilera and her husband Jordan Bratman have named the child Max Liron, which is pretty sensible compared to most celeb-sprogs.

'E! Entertainment' says the gorgeous star and her partner Jordan Bratman initially sent a text to friends on Friday saying simply: Baby has arrived. Mom and dad are doing well!
