Christina Aguilera has taken inspiration from Kevin Federlineand got herself a part in gritty US show, 'CSI: Crime Scene Investigation'.

Britney's estranged ex bagged his first serious acting role playing a teen thug (no jokes, please...) in the drama earlier this year and now Brit's one-time arch chart rival Christina has followed suit.

The 'Hurt' warbler will appear in an episode next February centring on domestic violence.

Christina grew up in an abusive home and is now a major contributor to the womens shelter in her home town of Pittsburgh so she's well versed on the subject.

The shows executive producer Anthony Zuiker explained said: "Christina's a fan of the show, and we're excited to have her."

Surely rapping can't be next on the multi-talented gal's agenda...
