Rapper Lil' Wayne Blasted
Hell hath no fury like two rappers scorned...
Veteran US hip hop duo Clipse have spoken out about snappy rapper Lil' Wayne.
The hip huppity one has been lashing out at everyone recently, from Jay-Z, who he reckons he's better than, to Pharrell Williams and the Clipse boys.
"I dont see no f***ing Clipse," he told a US radio station a couple of weeks ago. "How many years they been around? Who the f*** is Pharrell? Do you really respect him?
But when MTV News UK caught up with the Clipse brothers in New York they gave the Lil' one the ultimate diss - complete indifference.
The whole Lil Wayne thing " its nothing," Malice told us. "I mean hes definitely not a G, definitely not a trend setter. Everyone knows he got his style from the crew.
And Pusha T added, Yeah theres no glory in getting at Lil Wayne. If you want glory you go at the top, not Lil Wayne.
Following two critically acclaimed mixtapes, the Southern duos second album, Hell Hath No Fury, has become a late contender for hip hop album of the year. So why already the budding beef?
Pusha T explained, Were just coming back into the game. Weve been gone for four years and its like people must feel our presence when youve got to mention Clipses name. Were definitely the underdog, weve always been the underdog. They must know were on their heels.
Let battle commence!
