Enormous Tunes North American Bus Tour...

What's it like getting your hands on a track from the legends that are Faithless? Did you remix it with their approval in mind or just go for it?

"It was an honour to get the remix request for Faithless. It was special to work with those epic vocal parts that you recognise from a million miles away! I always try to create something that touches me and evokes emotion in the listener.

"I kept the original in mind and definitely wanted to make sure I would have Faithless’ approval. The result still excites me – gives me shivers at times."

What music did you grow up listening to? Would you say they influence your productions today?

"In early years I listened to a lot of classical music, many different pianists. Later on I listened to a lot of rock music. I certainly find inspiration from the music I grew up listening to and like to blend in different elements into my own productions. I love the use of classical instruments in my music – especially the piano as I think that it gives a lot of soul to a track."

What's the best gig you've ever been to?

"One of my favourite plays was Mysteryland in the US last year. I had an early playtime and didn’t expect too much, but people literally rushed in when I started. The vibe was great and I loved the whole set up. I perceived it more like a stage for any sort of creative people rather than a typical music festival. Great people, creative works and all of that on the legendary Woodstock grounds felt epic!"

Tell us about the North American Bus Tour. How are you going to keep sane over the weeks on the road with all those guys?!

"Good question! I'd like to hear some suggestions ;-) No, but on a more serious note; all of us are not only artists releasing on the same label, having similar visions and are based in Switzerland, but we are also friends! We know each other very well and we support each other. It will be great to play and experience touring together. It’s also an opportunity to learn new things!"

What are you most excited about for 2016?

"I am very excited for Coachella! I am curious to see what all the hype is about ;-) and playing there will be a real milestone in my career."

Which other DJs/producers are you loving at the moment?

"I generally love listening to Passenger 10 or RÜFÜS. They have very touching and innovative music."
