Chris Martin has hinted that Coldplay's next album could be their last.

During an interview with BBC Radio 1, the Sky Full Of Stars singer revealed that the band are currently working on their seventh LP… and it may possibly be their final release.

[related]Speaking of the record, which istitled A Head Full Of Dreams, Martin explained: "It's our seventh thing, and the way we look at it, it's like the last Harry Potter book or something like that."

However, the 37-year old went on to add that Coldplay wouldn't rule out more albums in the future, stating: "Not to say that there might not be another thing one day, but this is the completion of something...

"I have to think of it as the final thing we're doing. Otherwise we wouldn't put everything into it."

As well as hinting that the end is nigh, Martin also announced that Coldplay would tour to promote their forthcoming LP after not hitting the road with their most recent release, Ghost Stories.
