Coldplay Go Spanish
The four-some reveal all about their hotly anticipated new album and its latin sound
Coldplay have announced theyve been recording their fourth album in Barcelona and have been influenced by their recent surroundings.
In a message on their website the group said (weve been) moving from church to church setting up where we can.
The sights, sounds and flavours of Latin America and Spain have definitely been infused into this project. The music and lyrics have begun to reflect the strengthening Hispanic theme.
Coldplay are recording the new LP with Brian Eno whos known for his experimental work with David Bowie and Roxy Music.
A previous post on the bands website admits that the sessions have been fraught- Tension is an inherent part of recording. What is remarkable is that this friction very rarely ignites into flame.
All the notes are credited to Prospekt which is widely thought will be the title of the album.
