Coldplay: Nein, You Vill Not Quit!

Coldplays label is insisting that the band have no plans to split, despite Chris Martins heavy hints at the Brits.

Picking up the award for best British album on Wednesday night, Chris said: "People are fed up with us and so are we. You wont see us at one of these for many, many years. We mean it."

But now EMI has emphatically stated that the band are here to stay. "Coldplay are not quitting. They are on the road until July, when their 16-month X&Y World Tour ends in Japan. They will then continue working on new material." Zich Heil!

Coldplays new single, The Hardest Part is released in April.
